During the Special-Called Board Meeting in June, the Glynn County Board of Education unanimously approved the Fiscal Year 2025 budget, which includes an approximately $184 million operating fund. This decision reaffirms their commitment to students and staff.
In the FY2025 budget, Glynn County Schools will provide salary step increases for both certified and non-certified staff members. Additionally, Governor Brian Kemp’s budget allocates a $2,500 raise specifically for teachers. This wage increase builds upon the positive trend from FY2024, which also featured a 15.4 millage rate, benefiting taxpayers in Glynn County.
