Students participating in grade level specials and recess. Providing specially designed instruction for academic and developmental skills, including skills that promote independence in routines of daily living as well as opportunities to work on peer interactions. Supporting students communication skills (e.g. CORE boards, visuals and daily schedules, etc.) as well as visual and fine motor skills through informal thematic unit relating to space and the planets (highlights to include Artemis and Jupiter). Incidental and formal learning opportunities for goals, objectives and benchmarks relating to IEP. Enrichment activities include games, puzzles, videos, art projects, etc. Some students preparing for IEP Meetings.
